The Work of Collaboration in Producing Multidisciplinary Rounds, (1997).
Funding by Queen's Medical Center. Honolulu. Albert B. Robillard and Charon Pierson, Principal Investigators. The University of Hawai`i and the Queen's Medical Center are collaborating on an interdisciplinary practice in an effort to improve the delivery of health care services to complex patients hospitalized in the medical center. One part of this project is the introduction of Multidisiplinary Rounds where a variety of health care professionals, including physicians, nurses, social workers, dietitians, pharmacists, and respiratory, occupational, and physical therapists, meet to produce a patient-centered collaborative care plan.
