All are welcome with special invitation to disaster managers * emergency responders * humanitarian relief workers * researchers and faculty * governmental representatives * staff and volunteers with voluntary organizations active in disasters * health workers * scholars in cultural, environmental and women's studies * community organizers and planners * gender and development specialists * community members and * activists.

We especially solicit participation from those in regions heavily impacted by natural disasters. Limited travel subsidies are available with prior application.

Registration fees

Fees include continental breakfast and light lunch for three days and one working dinner, as well as all resource materials and a copy of the proceedings.

Regular: $125 if received by June 30
Student/low-income: $105 if received by June 30
Late: $175 if received by August 9
Reception only:  $45 for guest/spouse or to attend the reception only on August 10 at the Waikiki Aquarium from 6:00pm - 8:30pm.

Note: Refund requests cannot be considered after August 5, 2004

Limited travel assistance is available for those from small-island Pacific states, Africa, Asia, and Latin America, with priority to participants with high travel costs and little organizational support. Submit your completed Travel Subsidy Application by MAY 1, 2004 for consideration.
